This is an astounding debut! Heavy, fuzz-laden graveyard doom, stunning production and ethereal vocals. At times, Susie McCullan sounds she’s singing an old folk tune, other times she could be channelling Liz Frasier of The Cocteau Twins. It's a unique voice.
Huge slabs of growling, monolithic riffs are forged by guitar and bass that loom from a misty backdrop of relentless crashing cymbals. Top marks to the producer for bringing the drums out as an instrument in their own right.
